Have you unlocked your iPhone? Do you have any 3rd party applications running on your iPhone?

I think Apple’s threat is pretty intense, bricking up phones that have been altered in any way at all. But if you think about it, if you do that to any sort of technology, like a digital camera or a laptop, of course you’re going to void your warranty.

It’s confirmed now that your iPhone will NOT work if you have modified it and downloaded the update. It’s also confirmed that if you have any 3rd party applications running on your iPhone, they won’t work either – regardless of whether or not you’ve modified the iPhone.

So what are you going to do? Not download the update?

Presently I am in UK and I am just going to buy one and take it to india and will ask the customer care to unlock it. But yes if you are in a country where there is no cc then there is a problem.
