The iPhone should have come out in 3g to begin with. Maybe Mr Jobs will be generous unough to hand back another $100 to its valued members  .

This is a technology game and every 6 months if Apple don't bring out new technology then some other competitor will rip the design and develop a cheaper clone. Look at Windows as a case in point. Therefore people will upgrade or slowly be migrated to the new product by which time they will miss out on the redundant items in the versions in between.

Either way product development won't stop for any sales related issues

If they release it then also there will be no use because at the end of 2008 I am sure there will be 4G and then apple will again take 2 years to shift so its better to also give 4G along with 3G .
